Leadership Breakfast

On Friday, June 24th, the Multop’s hosted breakfast at their home as a way for all the players, sponsors and key contributors could get to know each other and share ideas and stories before the weekend of events got underway. 

As the title sponsor, Multop Financial handled the event planning , administration and coordination of the Kids Camp, including a vital role in the weekend’s subsequent events.  Tyler Ryan of Multop Financial is the acting program director of the Michael Koenen Foundation, working closely with Michael and Devin to ensure that the mission of the Foundation is upheld every step of the way.  Thirty-five people attended, including Michael & Devin Koenen, Jake Locker and his Dad, Scott Locker, as well as the other NFL players and community leaders who all worked hard to put the Kids Camp together. 

The morning started with a prayer from Greg Crim of Cornwall Church, then breakfast, then a Marshmallow Driving Contest – photos tell the story – and soon the players were on their way to Shuksan Golf Course for the Chelsey Rae Ebert Annual Charity Golf Tournament and Auction, with this being the first year to co-produce the event with the Michael Koenen Foundation.  A lovely morning was enjoyed by all, with the Spence Redmond Jazz Trio playing in the background and Fools Onion catering a delicious meal.   John Sedgwick was on site as the event photographer and was able to capture some of the fun and inspiring moments, not only at the Leadership Breakfast, but also at the Kids Camp on Saturday.
