Multop Team Volunteers at American Museum of Radio and Electricity
Multop Financial, out of love for our country, took part in the "call to action". On September 11, 2009 our firm volunteered at The American Museum of Radio and Electricity. Our love for history, discovery, technology and education was sparked from the minute we arrived. We were in awe of the many inventions that are on display at the museum; a true dedication to the history of electricity and innovation. The Museum’s theme is “where discovery sparks imagination” and its mission is to offer exciting experiences for audiences of all ages through programs and exhibits that educate and enrich our community. We were able to provide our volunteer time to help clean and organize the building by window washing, vacuuming, removing wallpaper and relocating objects, just to name a few. Through the volunteer time and financial contributions from the community, The American Museum of Radio and Electricity provides thousands of disadvantaged students with the thrill of discovery through after school programs. We were proud to donate a total of 30 volunteer hours to the project that day, and we hope to make it an annual tradition.
Our team consisted of Phil & Melanie Multop, Tyler & Aretha Ryan, Michael & Ginger Lamoreux, Andrew Knox and Gayle Miller.
