Dollar Cost Averaging
Dollar cost averaging is a periodic investment plan that involves committing a specific dollar amount to be invested at regular intervals (i.e. $50 per month). This form of investing does not guarantee a profit and does not insure against a loss in declining markets. You should consider your financial ability to continue making purchases through periods of low price levels, as dollar cost averaging is a long- term strategy. However, this can be an effective way for investors to accumulate shares to help meet long-term goals.
